Terms of Service

By accessing or using murmr ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

murmr provides a text-to-speech API service that converts text into audio using AI models. The Service includes:

• API access for programmatic text-to-speech generation
• Voice Playground for testing and experimentation
• Dashboard for managing API keys, usage, and billing

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and API keys
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• One account per person or legal entity

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Generate content that impersonates real individuals without consent
• Create deepfakes or misleading audio for fraud or deception
• Produce content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions
• Resell API access without authorization
• Attempt to reverse-engineer the underlying models

Violation may result in immediate account termination without refund.

• Free Tier: 10,000 characters/month, personal use only
• Paid Plans: Billed monthly via Stripe
• Overages: Requests exceeding your plan limit will be rejected (HTTP 429)
• Refunds: Available within 7 days if less than 10% of quota used
• Price Changes: We will notify you 30 days before any price increases

• Your Content: You retain ownership of text you submit and audio generated
• Our Service: We retain all rights to the murmr platform, brand, and technology
• Model: The underlying Qwen3-TTS model is licensed under Apache 2.0

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Specific latency or performance metrics
• That the service will meet your specific requirements

To the maximum extent permitted by law, murmr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

• You may cancel your account at any time via Dashboard → Settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, your access will end immediately
• We will delete your data within 30 days of account deletion

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or dashboard notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam.
